This is chapter 26 of the conversations with Swaruu, an extraterrestrial woman from Erra de Taygeta (Pleiades) (fifth density) with whom we are in written contact, and who speaks on all kinds of subjects dealing with our reality, spirituality, metaphysics, ancient history, extraterrestrial life, health, the soul, technology and much more. In this series I share with you what I am learning, so together we gradually understand more about everything, who we are, where we come from, why we are here and which our cosmic families are.
We learn more about how reality works around us and what the universe we live in is made of. And above all, we learn a lot about all the limiting beliefs that keep the human population in the artificially created matrix, the 3D reality in which we are immersed: The key to getting out is in you! This episode is a conversation Robert and I had with Swaruu about the importance of shadow work, the concept of Carl Gustav Jung. I would like to express my eternal gratitude to Swaruu for her patience and enthusiasm to be with us and explain so many issues of reality.
It is a dream come true and a great honor to meet her. If you also want to communicate with stellar families, be patient, dreams often come true and what we project we attract! Many thanks to all Taygeteans for their support.
Gosia – Hello Swaruu, I’d like to talk about shadow work. You said it was one of the most important issues for people on Earth. I’d like to go deeper, please. Is that all right?
Swaruu. – Oh, yes, of course. Good morning, Gosia and Robert.
Gosia: Well, thank you, first it would be good to understand what exactly the shadow work is for you, what do you mean by that?
Swaruu. – I understand that it is the work that is done when a person performs a systematic self-observation by gradually, with or without help, analyzing their internal programming and going back to the programming from childhood, the traumas and automatic reactions of each person, the origins and their causes.
Gosia. – Okay, well, what are the most appropriate methods to get rid of the shadows in all of this?
Swaruu: As expected, it depends on each person, because what works for one individual will not work for the another, it is part of the spiritual path and as such is individual. Already mentioned in previous articles there are parameters for this concept that can help people with their own version of shadow work.
Gosia. – What kind of people are they?
Swaruu. – The first is to understand that this is shadow work, the next is to formulate one’s own goals. It is part of what a baby will find from birth as a social barrier, from the most basic point, namely to understand that there are acceptable and unacceptable things. Acceptable things are accepted by our family, unacceptable things are not, and that will depend on each family and culture; this means that the individual, in order to survive, must suppress the unapproved aspects of himself, while trying to exaggerate the accepted ones, as a survival mechanism. What this causes is a duality or dichotomy inside, the creation of the conscious and the unconscious, the fact that one must share in this way is probably the first act of rejection of oneself. A person has aspects that one perceives and other aspects that one does not perceive within the same person; one cannot see them, hence the name shadow work, so someone is not in the “light” (in sight) of the person, therefore one cannot see the aspects of oneself that are there.
Since we suppress what we are taught, it is negative, these usually consist of socially negative things, although positive aspects are also hidden. For example, girls are told to be quiet and not express their opinions, which leads them to suppress this and become insecure. Let’s say that a girl who went through this when she was a child, when she remained silent, she will then be a suppressed adult regarding this aspect, seemingly insecure and with little self-esteem, but the moment she discovers the root of her problem, the fact that her mother suppressed her in this aspect, it will suddenly force her to feel secure and assertive and for the first time be able to freely express her opinion.
Another example is people who constantly attack with inappropriate comments; other people are aggressive-passive, they try to bring out an aspect of themselves that they have suppressed. Instead of doing that openly sharing their opinion, they do it in this way because of the negativity they have with the attack strategy. They are not able to confront each other directly as easily as they would if they openly expressed themselves from a point of empowerment. They have denied aspects of themselves, and they do not understand why they react in such a manner and suffer their own shadows. They do not understand their reactions because they have hidden their denied aspects. They have lost these parts of themselves through this survival strategy. They hide their negative aspects and exaggerate the positive ones from a socially accepted point of view.
People end up fragmented and they themselves have caused it because their self-esteem was less important than being accepted by their family and community. These aspects remain there and come to light to cause more problems. Problems and reactions must be addressed directly, even if they hurt because they do hurt. Shadow work means bringing to light the deepest aspects of our being, learning to transcend our problems and their deepest causes, thereby it is possible to reach so-called spiritual enlightenment.
Gosia. – Great, thanks. You said earlier that the first thing to understand is that it is shadow work, and then to form your own goals. As you commented; is it part of that phase, right? to form goals.
Swaruu. – It’s not about why and how shadow is done when you understand what it is.
Gosia. – And what exactly would “setting goals” be?
Swaruu. – It’s about understanding what you’re personally looking for with shadow work.
Robert. – Doesn’t that change the individual personality?
Swaruu: Yes, you change your personality, but it is the personality itself that makes the change.
Gosia: Should our shadow work be done only by ourselves, or can we get clues from others about what our shadows are? However what they may see, aren’t some of them their own projections?
Swaruu. – The others often, if not always, have more consciousness or can see our shadows more clearly than we ourselves. They are shadows of ourselves. What is obvious to an external person, is not obvious to the person who has the shadow in question; and at the same time they are also adding their reactions and their own shadows, as you said, and because of their own shadows it is always unreliable. It requires someone who is pretty conscious.
Gosia. – How can we know if something is part of us, as part of our essence, or if it is programmed? Practical example in my life: My Catholic religious culture programmed me wanting my relationship (as a couple) to be monogamous. But there are people telling me that I was like that because they programmed me such. Is that my shadow? How do I know if my desire to have a relationship with just one person in a monogamous way is, because I am like that or because it is perhaps my shadow that I have to dissolve?
Swaruu. – In the end everything is programmed, whether in the current life or before, in another life, but everything is programming and interpreting. It is only a soup of gradients in which the programming becomes clearer or more subtle. Gosia. – Okay, thanks, more work…..
Swaruu. – You’re welcome. Just remember that everything you interpret is the result of programming, even the chair you have there; it’s a chair because it’s programmed that way. You like chocolate because it’s programmed, too. Everything that is essence also comes from previous experiences, which are nothing else than programming. The sex you have, your sexuality, any idea, is programming.
Initially a person has no soul, it is not given to us, the soul is something that is built up by itself due to hard work and through time and incarnations, and that is nothing but more programming, it is just that something that is seen as shadow is something that you don’t want to have at that moment, a behavior that contradicts the idea or concept that the person has of oneself, the ego concept. It’s the idea you have of yourself as a person.
Gosia: You’re right, if you look at it that way, everything is programming, yes, and freeing the mind to “Unified Consciousness” would mean seeing everything as programming, even what I perceive coming from my essence. I see it now as you have revealed it, yes, all ideas and interpretations are programming, you are right, there is nothing else.
Swaruu. – Yes, it is only the juxtaposition between the things that a person sees as acceptable and according to his self-understanding, and the things that run counter to this self-understanding, as attributes and qualities that contradict what he wants to be.
Robert. – But who determines what is acceptable or not, society or the individual?
Swaruu. Both, Robert. But in the case of human society, the individual will always be the result of his interaction with society, and the attributes that a person does not want, that are in conflict with his personal perception (ego), are those that are suppressed and become shadows, but these shadows will always be there, because they are part of the values that make up the individual, and this individual has them and rejects them because he resists them and this resistance defines what the individual wants to do, but the individual can only know what he wants to do when he knows who he does not want to be, but whether he likes it or not. There are shadows, and they will come to light when you least expect them, because they are two sides of the same coin that cannot be separated.
For example, if your mother rejects something about you, you will suppress it so that it does not come out, especially if you are little, because your survival depends on your mother’s love. When a person is born, we say he has no triggers, which are precursors of shadows, he is clean and without any programming, but as he grows, the shadows inevitably develop.
Apropos shadow concept, whether we like it or not, I have an earthly quotation that I personally like very much: “What you suppress and hide will manifest itself as fate only later”, comes from Carl Gustav Jung. Where does the term shadow work come from? It’s something Jung used for the first time.
Gosia. – So from what I see here, the shadows would not be programming, like the example of being programmed to be monogamous from my culture and religion, but it is something we do not want and we don’t know why, and the programming, if it harmonizes with what I want, is not Shadow anymore, right? If I want to be monogamous, it doesn’t matter whether the programming is internal or external, both are programming, but if it’s my (internal) wish, then it’s not a shadow, is it? Well, how do I know if it’s inside or something that is oppressed I don’t know about? Maybe I always wanted to be a polygamist, but my culture turned it off.
Swaruu. – If you know that you are programmed to be monogamous and that was previously a problem for you, then it wouldn’t be like that anymore because you already know what is happening and you have directed the light into the shadows and it is your decision whether you follow which program the shadow has or what you dictate to your consciousness. If you don’t know why you feel something that causes you problems and you have no explanation for your reaction, then it is shadow. Better defined, a shadow is something that does not correspond to your own personal concept, something that you resist.
Gosia: Well, okay, it has to be something that causes you problems and whether it is Shadow or not, okay? If monogamy does not cause me any problems and I like it, then it is not Shadow. But if I have a problem with it and a resistance to polygamy, what is my shadow then?
Swaruu: There would be no shadows unless it caused you a problem. It is just that you prefer to be monogamous because of your programming, but you have no resistance being or thinking like that.
Gosia. – Okay, yes, yes, I get it. I just decide, there are no shadows.
Swaruu: A classic shadow is that of a girl that was not allowed to speak and who was told that pretty girls are seen but not heard. Later in life, she cannot express herself in school, college or in public, and she does not understand why she is afraid or cannot talk when people look at her, that is shadow. Only if she understands now why she has it and that she has it (the shadow), she will then be able to understand why and work to eliminate this behavior caused by a shadow that prevents her from developing as she wants. As a child, this behavior was useful to her, so she programmed herself to be calm, otherwise people will criticize her, but as an adult, it starts to be a problem, she cannot teach at her university and graduate, and she does not understand why.
Gosia: Thank you, this example is very well understood. I thought that Shadows are all kinds of programming preferences in general and that it is important to free the mind of them towards the Unified Field, the original source.
Robert. I see the shadow work is difficult.
Swaruu. – Yes, it is not easy, it is not easy to work on eliminating something that you do not know if it even exists. It is part of shadow work to free the mind from preference programming by considering everything as programming or self- programming. It is complicated because we try to understand and classify what is unwanted programming and what is not. Since everything is ultimately programming, you cannot eliminate everything, or you would stop being yourself with everything that defines you as a person.
Gosia. – What does the All-That-Is Source do?
Swaruu – It fragments to have the experience of being, the experience of more and to seek the extension so that more can be programmed. The programming itself, considered in isolation, is not bad, defines everything and separates you from others, defines you as a person, gives you your own identity. As you are, you are already pure consciousness. Here, too, a distinction must be made between the somatically programmed and that which is rather a characteristic of the soul. The Unified Self has its own identity and is the result of the sum of the consciousness of all existing beings; you yourselves are not only one identity, but the sum of many. The only thing that defines a shadow as a yoke concept is that you resist this programmed behavior, so you have suppressed it and then you have forgotten that you did it. It guides your behavior in conjunction with other shadows, cause-effect, leading to a series of reactions and procedures that defines you as a person within one life situation or another. This creates the shadows that the person does not want to have at the end of life, so Jung said that they will manifest later in life as destiny.
As a reference I quote Jung’s work because it is the source of the information I give you from here to there; cable connection for you, plus my personal interpretation.
From the highest level everything becomes complicated, because a shadow that causes problems can sometimes be desired by the Higher Self of the incarnated person, precisely to provoke you to a way of life that gives you a series of experiences necessary for your spiritual growth. This is not mine anymore, it is Jung’s. The shadow that causes problems can be desired by the Higher Self of the incarnated person, precisely to provoke a way of life that gives you a set of experiences necessary for your spiritual growth, that is no longer mine.
Gosia: And how do you know from the highest level what the desired self-programming of the soul is?
Swaruu. – If it doesn’t give or provoke resistance.
Gosia. – And that resistance again…. would be? How would you define it?
Swaruu: Anything you have and feel, that does not define you, or something you do not want your ego identity be associated with, an undesirable attribute, such as not being able to speak in public like the girl in the example above.
Gosia: Yes, but polygamy does not define me, so how do you know if it is resistance or my own choice?
Swaruuu: If it is a problem for you, it would only be a problem if you were with the Mormons who force you to be one of seven women for one man. If you like that, it’s not Shadow, but if you fight it, it is. But knowing that it is, then the dissolution is on the way; in the first place the definition of a shadow is, that you do not know that you have it, and in the second place you resist that kind of behavior.
Robert. – Why do you want to make so many changes, Gosia, when you’re an Avatar?
Gosia. – Because I have the feeling that these are not changes in the Avatar, but changes in being. They’ll follow me anywhere because I am, and my shadows will follow me too. I think it’s important to do this work from any Avatar, because this work is done simultaneously on all levels of my being.
Swaruu: Most of the shadows are preserved as programming of the mind. I’ll take myself as an example: When I was a child, I really liked being a child in shared consciousness with my mother, which is the same thing. I liked being the girl because I did not have the triggers of the mother. She was bitter because her mother, my grandmother, locked her up in the woods with a series of lies about persecution and isolation from men in order to preserve her spiritual purity, or I don’t know what else.
She was angry and alone, she was me, but she had the opportunity to be the girl, she ran away from being the mother because as a girl she only felt hope and fascination for everything around her; the mother had ticks and annoying shadows which I did not want as a soul, but they remained in my mother’s body. I was the same as a kid, but I don’t have my mother’s ticks.
In this case it is very clear what I mean, it does not define the soul, but it enriches it because I know and remember, and I have learned from my mother’s mistakes, the conditioning factors and the shadow. Conceptually and spiritually, a fully enlightened person is defined as one that has no shadows.
Gosia. -The obvious question at this point is: Didn’t the shadows of your mother and her ideas follow you in some way? Because it was also said that the programmed ideas follow you after death, these are part of your soul beyond the physical.
Swaruu. – That’s right, but if you see it in perspective, you learn from them. As I said before, it is the previous experiences of that life and all the other incarnations that make and define you as an individual person. I am the product of these past experiences as you are of your own.
Gosia. – Do you feel like you’ve overcome your shadows like your mother?
Swaruu: As long as I or another person is not the Unified Self, I will have shadows, and I have personally surpassed the ones from my mother, although they continue to define me.
Gosia: Is it possible that some of the resistance we feel comes from other incarnations?
Swaruu. – That is right, yes.
Gosia: So it is very difficult to identify them if you do not have the memory, like here in 3D. What would be your advice to identify our shadows and resistances, just observe our resistances or something else?
Swaruu. – Yes, watch what you do not want for yourself or what is causing you a problem.
Gosia. – In order to qualify as a shadow how much of a problem does it have to be? For example, I do not want being too thin, somehow it could be a problem, but is it a shadow?
Swaruu. – The degree of Jung’s work is not defined. In my personal attitude it is just a matter of priority what a person does not want, when something gives you more resistance or displeasure than anything else. Yes, at some point in your life you have created a shadow by not wanting to be too thin, you have a resistance to this concept, and you have no other attributes that could cause you a problem, or possibly a problem in the case of someone else. The fact that you are very thin is something that is socially programmed, as an unwanted attribute.
Robert: But it’s funny with twins because they may have different tasks to do within the same family and environment.
Swaruu: The twins who are the same person come from the same experiential programming of previous lives, and in the case of Earth, their new experiences as separate units will now define them as two persons.
It is the creation or fragmentation of a soul and the creation of two souls from a first-born. In the case of identical twins there will be two bodies and only one consciousness in Taygeta, because with complete telepathy, what one body lives or experiences, will be part of the other and vice versa, in the sense of enriching experiences.
Gosia. – And what would be the application of shadow dissolution if one were only aware of it and how to release it?
Swaruu. – You first have to understand that there is a shadow in relation to a certain problem, from there look with argumentation and logic where it comes from. When you look into the past and then decide what to do about it, and finally you have to reprogram the mind instead of associating it with what causes resistance. Then associate the shadow with something positive and not with something negative. For this you need the constant repetition of association with what you want to change.
Gosia: Hum…. To turn it into something positive, but the most important thing here is not to pretend anything to yourself, right? Even if we keep repeating that there is something positive inside, will we be able to suppress the programming as something that is even more negative? Is there that danger?
Swaruu: Here, if you concentrate only on the negative, you will get it. As many authors always say, shadow work is contradicted by the law of attraction, because if you look for shadows, you only get more shadows. But I do not agree, because if you do not expose a shadow it will only immortalize the problems. You cannot forever remain in a state of denial as if the problem did not exist.
Seeing and attracting light to the shadow and understanding that it is there, and observing its nature, does not mean seeing the negative, on the contrary, because it expresses an active and dynamic desire directed towards personal progress. This is the focus and not the negative cause.
To change the focus into something positive is not a pretext, if you only pretend it, and instead you are not changing anything and you are just acting. If you resist the concept of being too thin as something bad and embarrassing, it creates a shadow.
If you expose yourself and understand yourself, then you can program yourself knowing that thanks to this personal attribute you have attracted a lifelong partner, because he likes very thin people. Then the “thin” club will be something positive and not a problem.
Gosia. – I understand, change the associations, okay. I find everything very interesting, the subject of self-observation and self-examination, I always liked that very much. Thank you Swaruu, it is time to finish. Would you like to add something?
Swaruu: There is more and more on each topic, but what I said at the moment is enough.
Gosia. – Then let us finish here. Thank you Swaruu and see you tomorrow.
Swaruu. Thank you for being with us.
